I know how important the client/designer relationship is to the ultimate success of each project, and have worked hard to make the process easy, pleasant, fun and satisfying.  I start by getting to know you. Your personal tastes, lifestyle, likes and dislikes, hobbies, interests, family are all important elements to the final design outcome. I am constantly focused on meeting your goals and surpassing your expectations.
When you contact me with a design challenge or request, we will have a brief but specific telephone discussion about your needs, followed by an in-home or business appointment, This time will be to determine the purpose, goals, priorities and budget.  Should you not have yet established a budget I will help you to do so, since I cannot commence a project without both a clear understanding of the end result you desire, and the resources you wish to allocate to the project.
I pride myself in the ability to work to your taste and style, not necessarily mine; the furnishing decisions are about far more than looks.  I first approach your design challenge with functionality in mind, then scale, then style.  Finally, color palette, texture, contrast, and light are given strong consideration before the recommendations are made.
Unlike most designers, I typically do not charge design fees.  Instead, because I have the buying power of a $60 million company, I earn a reasonable profit on the products you select and approve.  Because I do not charge for the significant time I invest in your design project, I am not a discounter; but I do offer excellent value, providing the appropriate products in an attractive design that meets your personal tastes and individual needs.
